Cayley’s senior photo session at Edgewater Beach was one of those evenings where everything just came together perfectly — soft light, a warm breeze off Lake Erie, and endless variety in the scenery. Edgewater is one of my favorite places for senior photos in Cleveland because it gives you so much in one location: trees, grasses, sand, and water. Every corner has a completely different look, which is perfect for a full two-hour senior session.

We started by the beautiful willow tree near the edge of the park, where the sunlight filtered softly through the hanging branches. The greens were rich and full, and the light had that dreamy glow that every senior photographer hopes for. It was the perfect place to start the session! Calm, natural, and full of texture. Cayley looked stunning here, and I loved how her outfit paired with the soft tones around her. The willow tree always adds something special. It feels timeless, almost like a hidden garden in the middle of the city.

From there, we moved toward the tall grasses, which were catching the golden evening light beautifully. This area is one of my go-to spots for Edgewater Beach senior photos because it gives that warm, natural look that feels straight out of a summer dream. The breeze through the grasses added just the right amount of movement, and the glow of the setting sun made every photo feel soft and full of life. Cayley was so easygoing and confident in front of the camera, and it really showed in these photos.

After that, we made our way down to the shoreline of Lake Erie, and honestly I could have stayed there forever. The colors of the sky started to shift into pastels, and the reflection over the water was beautiful. The lake always brings a peaceful, relaxed vibe to the end of a session. There’s something about walking barefoot in the sand, waves rolling in softly, that brings out such genuine, calm expressions. It’s one of my favorite ways to wrap up a senior session.

Throughout our two hours together, we took so many photos!!! Every corner of Edgewater offered something new. From the greenery near the willow tree to the open sky and water, Cayley’s session had the perfect mix of natural backdrops and Cleveland charm.
